Now
This page is a snapshot of what I am focused on now.
It is not meant to be a full biography or a permanent overview. It is a simple way to show what currently has my attention across writing, systems, platforms, and experiments.
Current focus
Right now, my attention is centered on a few connected areas.
Strengthening the Himpfen platform
I am continuing to shape Himpfen into a clearer platform for open systems, tools, datasets, software, and structured resources. That includes improving architecture, separating concerns across subdomains, and making the platform feel more coherent as a whole.
Building durable open knowledge systems
A lot of my work is focused on creating things that are practical, reusable, and designed to last. That includes datasets, reference pages, knowledge structures, and open-source projects that solve recurring problems or make information easier to use.
Publishing with more structure
I am also thinking carefully about how ideas move between notes, articles, projects, and platform resources. Part of that work involves making the boundaries clearer between personal writing, platform infrastructure, and experiments.
Improving project coherence
As the ecosystem grows, clarity matters more. I am working on simplifying where things live, how they connect, and what belongs to each site, domain, or platform layer.
What this page is for
The purpose of this page is simple. It answers the question: what is Brandon focused on right now?
That answer will change over time, and that is the point.
